The GIK Acoustics 244 Bass Trap is a professionally manufactured velocity broadband bass trap with a two-frame system allowing sound to be absorbed from the sides while maintaining a crisp, sharp edge. The 244 Bass Trap has a built-in air gap which not only increases low end absorption, but allows the panel to hang truly flush on the wall using an integrated wire on the back. The design of the 244 Bass Trap (and Monster Bass Trap) allows it to be used in multiple quantities to absorb as much bass as possible without over absorbing the high end, which leaves life inside the room. Cymbals are crisp and clear while bass kicks!
Often, studio engineers assume that inaccurate bass levels are due to their monitors when actually it is an untreated room that creates an unbalanced sound. By installing GIK Acoustics 244 Bass Traps you will have a much more accurate low end perception and be able to hear and mix bass properly.
