Overview
Our Demi Corner Bass Traps with Alpha Series Diffusion patterns are 23.5 inch tall (23.5″) corner bass traps that allow flexibility in placement around the room. With their versatile size, these corner bass traps can be placed above other corner furniture elements such as lamps or end tables, and can be great for filling the gap between the ceiling and other corner bass traps.
This compact sound absorbing corner bass trap is filled with 100% environmentally friendly and recycled rigid fiberglass absorption material, wrapped in your choice of fabric, and finished with an attractive plate which has a mathematical sequence of slots for either one-dimensional scattering/diffusion or two-dimensional scattering/diffusion. Achieve an even decay time from low to high frequencies while providing the necessary absorption to flatten the frequency response by using corner sound absorbers with added diffusion.
Specs
Core
Rigid fiberglass provides twice the low end absorption over similar foam-based products.
Design
Top and bottom caps available in wood veneer to match plate selection: Blonde, Black, White, Grey Elm (upgrade), or Mahogany (upgrade)
Thin face plate has mathematical sequence of slots for spatial diffusion, but also allows low frequency waves to pass through to the fiberglass panel for low end absorption.
Weight
15lbs
NRC
1.05 (versus foam products where NRC = 0.4)

Standard Sizes
23” front face x 16″ x 16″ sides and 23.5” tall
Suggested Placement
Designed to fit in any corner and stack on top of other corner bass traps, also known as corner sound absorbers.
Low end sound waves reflect off walls, floors, and ceilings yet collect in corners where the boundaries meet. The amount of bass in one corner can vary from the amount of bass buildup in another due to things like monitor and subwoofer placement as well as room structure.
Plates
Pattern
1D option
Uses a mathematical sequence in a column that extends the length of the panel. The vertical slats of the 1D allow sound energy to be scattered in a horizontal plane.
2D options
2D (a) has a pattern of dots and dashes
2D (b) has a pattern of dashes
Uses a sequence of columns and rows with variable spacing that provides horizontal and vertical scattering of sound. Additional $20 each for Square panels and $30 each for Rectangle panels.
